Social impact evaluation has consolidated as a strategic field for understanding the real effects of interventions. In entrepreneurship programs, evaluation assumes a central role by generating evidence of effectiveness and contributions to socioeconomic transformations. Despite notable advances, gaps remain in methodological rigor and in the consolidation of an evaluative culture grounded in accountability and learning. This study aimed to map and analyze social impact evaluation practices in organizations within the Brazilian entrepreneurship ecosystem through a mixed exploratory approach, combining questionnaires and interviews with professionals in the field, followed by content analysis, statistical treatment, and data triangulation. The results indicate a scenario of growing maturity, yet marked by the predominance of evaluations focused on immediate results and by limitations in the use of counterfactuals and causal methodologies. It is concluded that the institutionalization of evaluation as an organizational learning practice is the main driver for advancing the field and strengthening the entrepreneurship ecosystem.
