Cultural heritage aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the UN 2030 Agenda

This article explores the contribution of cultural heritage to sustainable development, highlighting its relevance in promoting local identity and in fulfilling the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations' 2030 Agenda. The research aims to investigate how cultural heritage can act as a catalyst for sustainable development aligned with the SDGs. The general objective is to analyze cultural heritage as a driving element of sustainable development, aligned with the SDGs of the UN 2030 Agenda. The main objectives include the analysis of cultural heritage as a driver of sustainable development, the presentation of key theoretical concepts, and the review of relevant national and international legislation. Using a qualitative methodology with a bibliographic and descriptive approach, the study seeks to verify the effectiveness of cultural heritage in promoting sustainable development. The study concluded that legislation plays an important role in enhancing the integration of cultural heritage with sustainable development goals.
