Currently, there are numerous educational institutions, whether in-person or distance learning, offering higher education courses and/or open courses. Due to this wide offering, it is necessary to analyze the institutional trajectory and the quality of the course, which will be the future profession. In this sense, this summary presents information on the National Student Performance Exam (ENADE) and Course Concept (CC) of Higher Education Institutions (IES) in Santa Catarina, which offer the English language course (Bachelor's and Licentiate's degrees), distance and in-person modalities. To obtain the information, the methodology adopted is bibliographic and analysis of secondary data. The secondary data of the HEIs were obtained from the National Registry of Higher Education Courses and Institutions (e-MEC Registry), for the year 2017 to 2022. A total of 55 courses offered by 52 HEIs in activity were identified. Of these active courses, 21 courses are offered in the in-person teaching modality and 34 in the distance learning modality. Only 15 courses received an ENADE score, with a score of 3 being given to 9 courses (regular), a score of 4 to 3 courses (excellent) and, a score of 5 to 1 course (excellent). One distance learning undergraduate course received a score of 2 in ENADE. It can be concluded that, regardless of the type of education offered, the HEIs have satisfactory ENADE scores that reflect the quality of education offered to students.
