The complex social and environmental issues of the globalized world have led companies to be questioned in their role in solving these problems, with society and legislation increasingly demanding business sustainability. This creates a business field for sustainability consulting companies, which with their expertise can support their clients in changing to more sustainable business models. The objective of this research is to analyze how a sustainability consulting process is developed in a small Brazilian specialist company, using the case study method. For this, the case of a specialized Brazilian consulting firm was analyzed, and the process of producing an impact report for its client, which sells products from the Amazon region. Three participants in the process were interviewed, and these reports were organized according to a consultancy process model selected after a literature review. It was identified that the consulting process followed a compact format, due to its diagnostic objective, generating as a result in learning for the client, who not only discovered the size of its impact, but also gaps in its relationship with suppliers.
