Snake bites represent a considerable public health problem and have a high prevalence in the Amazon region. Therefore, this study aimed to analyze clinical-epidemiological, temporal, and spatial aspects associated with the morbidity and mortality of snakebite accidents in the state of Pará between 2012 and 2023, through an ecological, descriptive, and retrospective study using SINAN data on cases and deaths. Statistical analyse were employed using the chi-square test for case outcomes and the construction of cartographic representations for incidence and mortality rates among municipalities in the years studied. The analysis revealed a predominance of accidents among men aged 20 to 39 years and of mixed race, most of which were caused by snakes of the genus Bothrops, and factors such as advanced age and severity of the accident showed a higher risk of death. Furthermore, the northeast of the state presented higher incidence and mortality rates due to environmental, socioeconomic, occupational, and structural factors. In this scenario, epidemiological and geographical analysis can be useful for guiding strategies to mitigate snakebites.
